Treat yourself to the good times of the past with some of these items, still made the old fashioned way, with those same old recipes handed down from the turn of the century:


Harvin Liver Pudding - Sometimes called rice pudding, liver pudding is a mixture of pork liver and a variety of meats with cooked rice and selected spices. Harvin Liver Pudding is recognized as one of the best made, very tasty, a lot of meat and well spiced. Can be reheated and served over eggs, grits or rice, or as a main meat dish. Liver Pudding is packaged in 6 lb. tubs and 8 lb. sticks (food services), and in 8 oz. and 1 lb. packages for retail.


HARVIN HOG HEAD CHEESE - a cooked loaf, similar to liver pudding but without rice, vinegar added to give a nice bite- available packaged or bulk.

 
Souse Loaf is a beef and pork variety loaf, highly seasoned with vinegar, pickles, relishes, peppers and pimentos, giving a delicious tangy flavor. Can be served cold as a snack or as a meat dish. Souse Loaf is packaged in 6 lb. tubs and 8 lb. sticks (food services), and in 8 oz. and 1 lb. packages for retail.
 
 
 
 

HARVIN OLD TIMEY BOLOGNA - this unique item comes from many years ago-choice cuts of beef and pork & natural spices, stuffed into a cotton bag, cooked in hot water and sealed in wax for protection-many say its taste is unrivaled by anything today-available in 7# sticks for deli slicing- makes great sandwiches or hors d'oeuvres.
